Plating is the surface covering where metal deposited on a conductive surface. Without metal plating, corrosive raw metals would only last a fraction of their potential coated lifespan. Metal plating makes it more resistant to rust, corrosion, and wear. Without proper finishing, the underlying metal is either scratched or has marks. Furthermore, the lifespan of metal products reduces to a fraction of its potential without metal plating.

Makoto has some customers that require plating in their items. We strictly implement quality controls in the surface treatment required for each item (painting, engraving included) to meet the requirements set by customers.  We always make sure that the items delivered are of the best quality.
